Noting that Charis hardly speaks Kyon thinks anyone could tell he is not just some normal employee. Even if he does turn out to be like Lucaon he intends to hand him the letter and have a chat. Kyon is apprehensive at meeting Sihan where he is nervous that his TV persona may be fake. While he did think Lucaon was short-tempered from his memory and in the picture he was a nice guy. Noting he is smiling Kyon remembers he meet Lucaon once as a child when he was saved from a zero by him. Kyon is also fearful both at Lucaon's demeanour and at finding photographs. Curious, he wonders why unused rooms need to be cleaned everyday and then whether Lucaon is the only aristocrat living in the mansion.
After leaving the mysterious room with Lucaon within, he appears with a symbol on his neck, marking the territory of the Selvior's. Formally introducing himself Kyon thinks how just like that he went from a hasty adventurous spirit and became a servant. He was nervous about meeting an aristocrat in person but curious as to what they were really like. Looking for a job Kyon decides to start working as a royal servant because of a comment his friend makes. This story also contains a little more emotion. 'I love you, Master.' Born as a servant but falls in love with the man who hates servants.
